Toile de Jouy is the name of that precious fabric that stands out for its bucolic patterns represented by decorations of country scenes.
A fabric with a timeless pattern whose origins date back to 1750, in France, precisely in the town of Jouy-en-Josaus, near Varseille.

Even today it is so famous all over the world that Dior recently wanted to revisit this fabric by adding hand-drawn wild animals as prominent elements that alternate between bucolic and rural scenes, creating contrasts between the classic shades of green, red and blue and camel-colored baths.
Similarly, other important designers such as Jean Paul Gautier and Christian Lacroix have tried to revive a fabric so rich in history by including it in their collections.
As we know, fashion and interior design are always closely linked.
After its return to the catwalks, Toile de Jouy is also returning to be part of apartment interiors, from wallpaper to cushion covers, from porcelain to living room curtains and from bedspreads to lampshades.

Faggianis is the best store on Etsy to me. Don’t get me wrong. I love all of the things that I buy on Etsy but this is my favorite shop of all. The designs are exquisite and everything is packed and little “ extras” are always there. The fabrics are of the best quality and everything I buy from them is so wonderful and beautiful. When I get a package from Faggianis I feel like love is actually put into it. It is just my style and I think I have purchased quit a bit from them. And I’ll keep coming back for more.
